Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any questions regarding our COVID procedures, please speak to your child's class teacher. However, we thought it would be helpful to have a bank of some of our frequently asked questions.

  • Can my child bring in hand cream if their hands are sore?

Children are allowed to bring in their own hand cream if they need to. This must be named, cannot be shared with other children and must be used independently and sensibly.

  • Can my child wear a coat in class?

Government guidance states that we need ventilation in each room to help reduce the spread of infection. However, as the weather changes it is not practical to keep all windows and doors wide open. Therefore, teaching staff will ensure they find a balance between comfort and ventilation. The children need to be able to focus on doing their best in class. As coats can be bulky and noisy, we would recommend children wear vests under their shirts if they need to.

  • Can I send birthday invitations into school?

Please do not send birthday invitations into school. We are trying to limit the amount of paper and objects coming in and out of school.

  • Can my child’s pencil case come home each night?

We would like the children’s pencil cases to stay in school due to potential cross-contamination
